This Thursday we take on we take on 2 films that dabble in some pretty awesome Practical FX. We talk about “The Void” and John Carpenters “The Thing”. We talk a bit about Ana Lily Amirpour's new film “The Bad Batch” and discuss it's parallels of politics while using cannibalism as a means to express it. As if each side eats itself alive. Plus Patrick says his final goodbyes too.

Then we Jump into a recent film that love it or hate it has some pretty damn good Practical FX and atmosphere. The Void (2016). We get into why some people may have been upset with the movie and why others may have loved it. As well as a lot of behind the scenes info from the Directors mouths.
Then we jump into John Carpenters “The Thing” (1982) for it's 35th anniversary last week. We talk about why we both love this film and all the factoids that a lot of people don't know. We also discuss who we each think is “The Thing” at the very end.
