This week is the start of FEBRUARY EXTREME! Alex finally gets to delve into the extreme horror that he's been wanting to talk about. Much to Christina's dismay.. This week we delve into two controversial films that shook the world. Irreversible (2002) About a woman who is attacked in a Paris City under passage that turns extremely violent in this Gaspar Noe` film. Then we dive into the Grand daddy of them all... A Serbian Film (2010) Is about a retired adult entertainer who opts for one last job but it ends up to be the final job of his families life. These movies are EXTREME and are not for the faint of heart. They are not meant for the average viewer. We discuss what we think about both these movies in our spoiler free and spoiler reviews to kick off the first week!
This week we review a few new movies that just came out for the New Year! Shadow in the Cloud (2020) that takes place in the sky back in WW2 in New Zealand a woman sees something strange on the wing of a plane? Then we take on a revenge film called Hunted (2020) with on crazy lead actor who hunts people down and plays with them before he takes them out. See what we thought of these new movies that have divided a few people.
Alex wanted to watch a few Luigi Cozzi films that came out in 1989 so he dragged Christina back to it. We needed a break from new movies 1 week. This week we talk about Paganini Horror (1989) about a rock group that uses unreleased music from the famous violinist. Only to find they may have just given up their souls. Then we watched The Black Cat (1989) which had less to do with Poe and more to do with being the unofficial sequel to Suspiria & Inferno. This of course came out before Mother Of Tears. Boy... does it get wild.
We continue our Holiday Horror Month with Two New Films! Including one about killer toys that just came out called TOYS OF TERROR (2020) which is on SYFY and VOD right now. Then we dive into the sequel of Once Upon A Time At Christmas (2017) called THE NIGHTS BEFORE CHRISTMAS (2019). Which has Mr. & Mrs. Clause wreaking havoc on people before XMAS! It's a fun NEW episode for the Holiday season before we go on break and return with our Top Horror of 2020!
