Alex Garlands (Annihilation, Ex Machina) MEN (2022) About a woman who visits the countryside of England after her husband dies. She soon starts to see the same man everywhere she goes until things get worse. Then we review the NEW David Cronenberg Film called CRIMES of the FUTURE (2022). About artist Saul Tenser who is growing new organs in his body that he and his partner tattoo and cut out live for their 'Show'. In a futuristic world where people feel no pain. We Finish up our Yokai Monsters 2 Week Discussion with the last 2 movies this week. We discuss Along With Ghosts (1969) Where a young girl is hunted by a gang who just killed her grandfather. She's set to find her father she never met and the Yokai lend her a hand. Then we take on the one of the newer takes on Yokai Monsters w/ Takashi Miike's The GREAT YOKAI WAR (2005). Where a young boy is chosen to be the hero of the world and becomes a hero with the help of some Yokai to take on the the modern menace in Tokyo. This concludes the Arrow Video Set that we bought and reviewed ourselves. Even though there is a newer Yokai movie by Miike we discuss in this episode! JOIN US!

We are going all the way back to 1968 this week!? WHA!? Yep. With the new Arrow Released Collection called the Yokai Monsters Collection. It contains the Original 60's trilogy and the Takashi Miike The Great Yokai War (2005). This week we start with a pretty long intro for you guys. We talk about spoiler free about Dashcam a little bit, the controversy about it, how Alex lost a friend over it. Then we discuss Stranger Things and what we thought of the first half of the 4th season. Then we jump into a brief history of what Yokai are. The history of them and how significant they are in Japan and the world now. Plus obviously our Reviews of 100 Monsters (1968) Part 1 of the Yokai Monsters Trilogy and then the 2nd film Spook Warfare (1968). We cover the last film next week with the remake by Miike. This week we watched Motel Hell (1980) About a brother and sisters who own a farm/hotel and not only are their accommodations lovely, but their smoked meats are divine. Say.. What is in this meat? Then we watch Slaughterhouse Rock (1987). A movie about a guy in college having some sleep issues and is haunted by an interdimensional being that looks like a vampire. This week for VOIDTOBER we take on the BEYOND the DOOR Trilogy! Alex get's pretty wild in this one while Christina tries to reel him in. 3 Italian Horror movies that are SBIG. Starting with Beyond The Door (1974) for a silly head spinning tale of a woman who suddenly become possessed while pregnant. It is considered to be the Italian Exorcist rip off. Then w/ SHOCK (1977) the sequel that isn't connected. About a boy who gets possessed by his father who died and haunts his mommy with weird results. Then onto the AMOK TRAIN (1989) aka Beyond The Door 3 about a killer possessed train that kills people. All three are pretty much insane.

This week for VOIDTOBER we dive into a few houses that you probably should go into. Starting with a review of THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL (2009) where a babysitter gets the job of a lifetime from a stranger offering 400 dollars for one night. Turns out she probably shouldn't have. Then we continue with a review of WE ARE STILL HERE (2015) about a couple who is grieving the loss of their son. They decide to try and reset by moving into a new town and an old house. A house that just so happens to feed on souls every 30 years. Oops. It's all here in our 2nd week of VOIDTOBER!
