It's the HOLIDAY HORROR SEASON! This week for our final episode of the year we decided to pick some films that are around Christmas and involve kids. Whether they are out to take parents out, or their friends. We partake in the Christmas "Spirit" this week for the 2 horror films to review that you may or may not of seen. First we start off with The Children (2008). A movie about 2 sisters and their families that join together for Christmas in a far away cottage. While celebrating this special time together as a family the children start getting sick and start plotting to kill their own family. Then we take on a movie that Christina has been wanting to cover on the podcast. Super Dark Times (2017). A story about some kids in the 90's that live pretty average suburban lives until one day an accident happens between 2 best friends. It not only threatens their friendship, their love interest and maybe even their friends. We review both of these films and talk about some of their trivia and thoughts on the matter. JOIN US! Ep339 The Dark Lurking (2009) & Future Fear (2021) Reviews

Pheewww this week is a doozy! Not only do we have some odd films for you, but we have one of the darkest HAPPY MONDAY segments we have done. Alex step past the point of taste (per usual) on this one. Then we jump into our reviews with some random Indie Sci-Fi Horror movies from Amazon Prime.. THE DARK LURKING (2009) about a distant future when an underground bunker is researching a dark secret dealing with gene splicing that ends up turning the entire underground population into grotesque creatures. It's up to an extraction team to pull the survivors out to safety before it's too late. Chock full of gore, bad dubbing and nods to other.. better films. Then we jump into a Sci-Fi Horror Anthology that is super budget called FUTURE FEAR (2021). Unlike the cover the story involves some sort of team of explorers from the future who find an ancient tome similar to the Necronomicon only with stories from current times about the future. It's chock full of homemade film making that is creative and a little too ambitious for it's budget. But we do our best.

Ep323 Weird AF Wonders Ratboy (1986) & Rat Man (1988) Reviews

We are back for a Weird AF Wonders Episode of Rat People Proportions. That's right.. we review two movies that may just blow your mind. First we talk about RATBOY (1986) where a young teenage Rat "BOY" is found and exploited by a woman and her two brothers to become FAMOUS. However the story behind the movie may just be the more interesting story. So you will NOT want to miss the Spoiler Section on this one. It has some pretty wild trivia that Christina gets heated about involving Clint Eastwood? Yep. Then we discuss RAT MAN (1988) about a genetically engineered or rather human sperm induced rat baby starts shredding models on a jungle island. Enough to bring David Warbeck & Janet Agren (of The Beyond & City of the Living Dead Fulci Movie Fame) to save the day. Ep314 Terrifier 2 (2022) Review w/ Special Guest Nyq Bonaventura AKA The Starship!

This week we have a special guest all the way from Uranus. The Starship aka Nyq Bonaventura. Also known as one of Alex's best friends and great debaters. Some call him a Master Debater of the Universe and beyond. We just call him Nyq and he's a fan of a movie that he and Alex break down together. TERRIFIER 2 (2022) "After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to the timid town of Miles County where he targets a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night." That's right Alex finally was backed into a corner by Nyq to not only watch it once but 2 times to see why he liked or disliked the movie. They both talk in depth about the movies up and downs in this audio orgasmic soundscape that will definitely blow you mind into another universe and out it's back side. Be prepared for a long talk about both of their opinions on this one.

Ep310 Holiday Horror - Gremlins (1984) & Gremlins 2 The New Batch (1990) Reviews

Last week we watched a few new horror movies that were a bit unknown. So, we thought to pick some older movies that were known really well to make up for it. We watched and reviewed a classic Christmas movie that 80s kids grew up on. GREMLINS (1984) starring your lovable fury pal Gizmo voiced by the prolapse video sharing tiktok legend and 80s fame Howie Mandel. When a certain curious pets owner breaks a few very important rules things multiply into green creatures hellbent on mischief. Not to mention Zach Gallgan, Pheobe Cates and a ton of legends like Dick Miller. Since theres no way that we can watch that movie without watching the sequel. We decided to pair it with GREMLINS 2 The New Batch (1990). A movie that returns a lot of the stars from the first movie and throws in a bunch of legendary cameos and jokes to fill the movie. It's a bigger budget Gremlins in a Smart High Rise with some awfully green issues. JOIN US for LOADS of TRIVIA about Gremlins, our last episode this month before we return with a new year and our top movies of 2022.
