Well, it's Valentines Week and we just had the Super Bowl. Apparently I heard Taylor Swift Won? In other news... we have 2 films for you and your Valentine or just yourself to enjoy! That's right we watched and reviewed (with loads of trivia) 2 holiday films for the occasion. Starting with MY BLOODY VALENTINE (1981) a slasher with a pick axe that kills when you celebrate the holiday with your friends. Especially since he was trapped in a mine for 6 weeks feeding on his friends. HOW DARE YOU! Then we take on a late comer to the Teen Scream slashers of the 90s with VALENTINE (2001). From the director of Urban Legends Jamie Blanks. This one stars an all star WB cast that will blow your mind with not only their looks but the insufferable dialogue and characters in this log of a slasher. We talk about why it was made, and why we tortured ourselves to watch it again. This episode is for lovers and if you don't have one. Give us some love by sharing the episode with someone you hate. It's been a long while, but this week we picked 2 WEIRD AF WONDERS! That's right. We got two weird Sci Fi Horror Films? Yep. Visitors... from OUTER SPACE! We even tell you what we think is the most friendly, evil and earth destroying aliens of the bunch. Plus we introduce edibles into the mix so be sure to hang around to the end where things get WAY off the rails. We review VISTORS FROM THE ARKANA GALAXY (1981) about a sci fi journalist that accidentally brings his creations to life by thinking about them. Will they destroy the earth? Or just make you laugh? This Yugoslavian Czech Croatian film that many have not seen is one to watch! Then we review Extra Terrestrial Visitors (1983). Which is about a meteor that crash lands on earth and hatches a bunch of furry snork wearing aliens that hatch on earth and cause havoc. EXTREMELY BORING HAVOC! Or is it? We talk about both while derailing the conversations multiple times this episode. Totally worth your time. JOIN US!
It's time for some Killer Thrillers! Ones that have huge stars playing bad boys... or.. something worse. That's right we picked a couple movies from 1990 that may or may not be remembered. A Eviction Thriller & a Supernatural Thriller. Alex derails the podcast for many stories involving some pretty crazy people and personal stories that will make you laugh. Christina reworks the plot of Jurassic Park into a Serial Killer story and so much more. We kick things off with a review of PACIFIC HEIGHTS (1990). Where Michael Keaton plays his best Bruce Wayne mixed with a murderer. A couple buys a brand new home in San Francisco to fix it up and rent it out to a few tenants to pay it off. When they get a tenant that won't move out or even pay. Things go from bad to worse as this tenant does everything they can to destroy this happy home. Can the new couple get him out before he kills them? Then we dive into a pretty underrated film that a lot of people may or may not know. MISTER FROST (1990) Starring Jeff Goldblum playing a seriously deranged serial killer? or something darker. Yep that's right. A Serial Killer admits to killing off 24 people that he buried in his backyard with a smile. 2 years later his trial ends and they decide to put this Man? into a mental hospital. To try and rehabilitate him. Only he's controlling the inmates and he's calling himself the devil. After wooing in a therapist Dr. Day becomes swept up in the killers game of I am the Devil and I'm going to prove it to you. That's right all in the this weeks episode! JOIN US!
This week we reach across the pond for some Horror and a Scifi horror film by Edgar Wright & Simon Pegg! That's right 2 films of the Cornetto Trilogy. Starting with a review of the movie that started it all.. SHAUN OF THE DEAD (2004). Which some people consider one of the best horror comedies ever made. We talk about what we think of the film and how it compares to other films in the sub genre. Then we skip over the sequel of the trilogy and go straight for the blue jugular of THE WORLD'S END (2013). The final chapter of the trilogy for Wright & Pegg. A movie about growing up and leaving your town behind.. Well some of us anyways. It's about friends and what we hang onto in our pasts. Well.. that and a bunch of Robots... I mean Aliens that have taken over the hometown of the 5 musketeers. If you know you know. We review the movie and talk about whether it's up to par with their first film and plenty more trivia for both films JOIN US!

About a man who inherits a chest from his dead ancestor chock full of arcane knowledge that leaves him spiraling off doing alchemy to bring the dead back to life. Then we jump into another 90s Lovecraftian film that is an anthology. NECRONOMICON (1993) that has 3 stories and one wrap around story with Jeffrey Combs playing Lovecraft. 3 original Lovecraft stories are given the short films treatment with some very amazing practical FX treatment.
