Since our recent #Graveplots horror movie we made up we figured let's watch some werewolf movies. What better series to start with than The Howling (1981) & Howling 2: Your Sisters A Werewolf (1985). 2 completely different tones from one another but were both extremely enjoyable. One of them though.. oh boy... It's a doozy of a film. Makes you wonder how the franchise got so popular. We also take a new #horrorshot to wash down the after taste of these movies. So buckle up.
When the movie Alien came out from Ridley Scott in 1979. The world embraced it's Sci-Fi horror like none other. It inspired many people and many movies. These are 2 of the many movies that were inspired by Alien but didn't necessarily rip them off. “Aliens 2 On Earth” about a bunch of cave explorers who descend and climb ropes to their alien tentacle deaths & “Contamination” about a bunch of weird glowing eggs that explode people. Join us as we jaw drop in awe over how bad these films can be at times. Let us take you into the bowels of movie making magic. We even made a drink called a “People Popper”. The new movie “The Endless” Just dropped on Digtial and Blu. So we drank the koolaid & dove into it's culty embrace for a review and a theories discussion on what it was all about this week. There's a little for those who have or haven't seen it. We sound an alarm before we spoil anything. So don't worry but a heads up for those who haven't seen it. We highly recommend you watch “Resolution” before you see it. Then we dive into the theories discussion about what it was all about. It's time for another movie making #Graveplots episode complete with sound fx! That's right this week we pulled a listeners submission! This movie title is from writer Isaac Thorne called “Wicked Moon”. We have a feeling that it wasn't what he had in mind when he made the movie title but we made a doozy of a movie up. It's about a Werewolf named Chester who fights off mutant humanoid insects that break through the earth and feed on everyone. Of course we had the Werewolf fight the insect creatures. Of course it's done in a classic B movie style. So break out the pizza and beer. Plus we update you on some of the news this past week. Let's do this!

In this weeks episode of Rip Offs Vol 1. On this special episode we will be looking at 2 movies that blatantly ripped off their predecsors to make a buck. First is “Mahakaal” from 1993 the Bollywood Nightmare on Elm Street rip off that was just too good not to review. Then we jump into a whammy of a rip off by Bruno Mattei who is known for quite a few knocks offs. His inspiration this time? Well, not just one movie but 2 rip offs in ONE! That takes talent. His movie technically called “Shocking Dark” in the states, “Terminator 2” in Italy and of course “Alienator” in Japan. That's right this movie tried to rip from both “Aliens” and “Terminator” to cash in on those big bucks. Plus we talk about the news and create a #horrorshot for “Shocking Dark” that is ... creative. You'll be screaming “Sarah” over and over after this episode.

We chose House (1977) a story about a girl and her friends who visit their aunt only to be eaten by the house itself in strange and happy ways. This week we interview Director Yfke Van Berckelaer about her career and the documentary about the film called "the Johnsons" she made called "Xangadix Lives". We talk about her next project (Kickboxer Hair Metal In Space) that will blow your mind, her beginnings and a lot more. The we dive into the movie that kicked off this interview "The Johnsons" from Holland! We had a lot of fun putting this episode together. They may be a little deeper cuts into the genre than normal. This week we talk about the psychedelic adventure ride from hell called “The Boxers Omen”. Existential horror at its best? This one blew our minds as it's trippy gore splattered our eyes. Next we talk about the gore soaked “Evil Dead Trap”. No, not an unofficial sequel to Evil Dead. It's another sort of existential horror movies that a conjoined twin kills off a camera crew one by one. Have you seen these? Well buckle up and get ready for us to tell you all about them. You betcha and it's a pretty great story that we made up for complete with sound fx in the story! The story is about a scientist who does experiments on Red Heads to grow back appendages on people but it goes horribly wrong. Pretty awesome stuff. We watched “Wild Zero” a tripped out Comic book Tarantino-esque adventure with rockabilly greasers, zombies, UFO's and crazy humor.
